YOUTH COURSE REGISTRATION

  • Course length: 6 weeks

  • Cost: $325 for teens

$245 for tweens

  • Includes one 25 lb bag of clay, glazes and firing

  • Students will be expected to bring their own tools

  • Tool Kit may be purchased for $25

  • Additional clay may be purchased for $20 per 25lbs of Standard 245 White Stoneware

Students may also enjoy the Japanese Stroll Garden and non ticketed events during museum hours on days when they attend class.

​Come get your hands dirty while discovering the ancient ceramics art form. Learn wheel throwing techniques, including centering, pulling, and forming basic vessel shapes, as well as basic decorating and glazing methods. Students of all levels are welcome.
