Course Description

Mixed media is a great way to discover oneself and discover one’s own individual style. Experiment with different mediums, techniques and materials to juxtapose textures and forms on various surfaces – painting, drawing, prints, collage, found or recycled things. We will work with stencils, stamping, oil pastels, crayons, pencils, collage, image transfer, etc. The combinations are endless, but the main idea is to combine and layer materials to create unique works. Various approaches will be demonstrated and if time allows, we can experiment with printmaking without a press. All levels are welcome. Please see the supply list on the website.
