Resination 25 is one of a series of works I am making, all of which are on 12” x12” stretched canvases and coated with resin. Each is an investigation of actual depth verses the illusion of depth. This Resination started as a photograph of pieces of my hair. On the computer I then manipulated it with Photoshop. Working off the swirls of hair I added copper wire with a similar swirl.
