I felt in this oil on canvas, the feeling of ancestry came through. Ancestry being the relationships and the lineage of time. Layering of the application of paint created the representation of past, present, future, time and space; and how fragile it all is. The vulnerability of relationships, no matter how long or short they may be, are part of life lived.
