YUNYOU Writing Workshop

The ethereal poetry and prose of Yunyou, or “Cloud Floating” incorporates Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. A major theme in Chinese art and culture, Yunyou poetry brings writers to the level of the sages. After reading selected poetry from Wang Wei (8th century) to Xu Zhi Mo (19th century), we will roam the garden and the gallery exhibit for inspiration and write poetry and prose in the Yunyou style.
