About the Event
These programs celebrate and expand upon the site-specific art installation by Soli Pierce and Bruce Odland.
Stephen Cowan is a physician, author, artist, and longtime student of Chinese medicine and Taichi. He has lectured internationally on holistic methods of empowering children that integrate the principles of Eastern medicine, which have for centuries recognized the intimate ecological relationship between our health and our environment. This approach respects the inseparability of mind, body, and spirit and promotes a deeper understanding of what it means to be healthy.
Bruce Odland invites you to explore deeper listening with “ear yoga.” Odland is a composer, sound artist, and sonic thinker and is known for large-scale sound installations in public spaces, creating unique instruments that reveal music inherent in natural and urban environments
