International Day of Tolerance
Presented by the Hudson Valley Human Rights & Holocaust Commission at the Hammond Museum
Thursday, November 16, 7:00 p.m.
The public is welcome to this free event with complimentary refreshments. The evening will feature a multitude of highlights including two notable speakers. Daryl Mundis, a retired international criminal justice lawyer, “Do Unto Others: Reflections from a War Crimes Prosecutor” and Erica Napach, who will speak about her grandparents, survivors of the Holocaust.
Julie Scallero, a retired teacher from the North Salem High School, will be honored for guiding students and passionately supporting the goals of HVHRHC.
We will be unveiling and announcing the winning design for HVHRHC’s new logo created by a local student.
Plus a photo and poetry exhibit by Hadley Mueller of Vermont will be on display. Hadley's work is an homage to a Buchenwald survivor.
