About the Event
We welcome you to a very special day-long event of exceptional music and enriching information. This program offers an educational workshop for the general public and culminates in an evening concert by an esteemed visiting master musician, accomplished local musician, and notable students.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide practical guidance on how to better enjoy Indian Classical Music, regardless of whether one is a seasoned listener or a newbie. By design the workshop is interactive in nature. Although it follows a broad structure, the presenter and/or the audience control the flow of the discussions and the depth of exploration of each topic.
