About the Event
We welcome you to a very special day-long event of exceptional music and enriching information. This program offers an educational workshop for the general public and culminates in an evening concert by an esteemed visiting master musician, accomplished local musician, and notable students.
Workshop conducted by renowned Sitar Artist Pandit Indrajit Banerjee and Tabla Maestro Nitin Mitta.
Concert features Pandit Indrajit Banderjee playing the Sitar, accompanied by Nitin Mitta on Tabla, as well as Stefan Dutta on the Sarod, accompanied by Raj Kumar Chattopadhyay on Tabla.
This program is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council of the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State legislature by ArtsWestchester and advertising support from the India Center of Westchester.
