About the Event
Workshop with renowned Tabla artist, Pandit Abhijit Banerjee and Pandit Anirban Das Gupta, son and disciple of Pandit Buddhadeb DasGupta. The workshop will focus on informal, interactive discussions on the foundation of North Indian Classical music. Also, Anirban DasGupta will talk about the life and works of his father and mentor, the iconic figure in North Indian Classical music, Pandit Buddhadeb Das Gupta. Participants will gain insight into the talent, dedication, and hard work needed to excel in this field. The evening concert will provide an immediate opportunity for workshop attendees to reap the rewards of their new knowledge and enjoy the music of this great tradition more deeply and fully than ever before.

- Adrija Bhattacharya – Vocals, accompanied by Kushal Sahabir on Tabla and Michael Harrist on Sarangi
- Pandit Anirban DasGupta – Sarod, accompanied by Pandit Abhijit Banerjee on Tabla
- Pandit Abhijit Banerjee – Tabla Solo, accompanied by Suhail Yusuf Khan on Sarangi
