About the Event
Sinrong specializes in Chinese calligraphy and watercolor painting. She received both her BA and MA degrees in Fine Arts from the Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Taiwan. With over twenty years of teaching experience, Sinrong has shared her passion for art with students of all ages, teaching at various institutions in Westchester as well as conducting workshops at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Sinrong aims to inspire creativity, connect people with traditional art forms, and encourage a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Asian brush art and watercolor painting.
Discover the elegance of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy in these enriching workshops! We will begin by exploring the unique characteristics of calligraphic strokes—how different brush techniques create expressive lines and how these qualities translate into painting.
