The Adams School of Art welcomes students with a diverse array of courses and workshops taught by professional artists and educators. Students who are current Hammond Members enjoy the added benefit of free access to museum galleries, Japanese Stroll Garden and the convenience of on-site parking. Ceramic Studio Information

Registration is through the Hammond website, www.hammondmuseum.org/ceramic-courses

Registration opens: Monday, February 24th

We highly recommend students be placed on waitlists for any fully enrolled courses. Please contact artschool@hammondmuseum.org to be put on a waitlist.

Course Policies for Transfers, Cancellation, Withdrawal or Changes

Only one transfer to another course is permitted a semester.

If a student transfers into a class less than seven days before the term begins or after the start and the class is less expensive, a refund will be provided.

If a student is transferring into a class that is more expensive, the student must pay the difference.

Transfers must be approved by the school office.

For courses to be conducted a minimum enrollment is required. In addition, there can be a maximum enrollment based on the studio size, equipment and the instructor’s requirements.

If the school cancels the course, students are encouraged to transfer into another course if space is available. If the student is not able to transfer, all fees will be refunded. In the event a course is cancelled due to low enrollment or teacher’s absence, notice will be given one to three days prior to the course start date.
